My name is Richard and I love to paint the natural world around me.
I have always loved nature and was very fortunate that from the age of 11 I lived in a Suffolk village and spent many happy hours wandering around the countryside,
enjoying the landscape and wildlife. I've been painting for many years and am self taught.
In the past I concentrated on birds and animals using only watercolour, painting in a realistic style always seeking to show their life and colour.
I sold many of these paintings through exhibitions, galleries and commissions.
Over the last few years I have turned my attention to painting landscapes in Watercolour, Oils and Egg Tempera.
